We started Zpryme’s Speed Rounds a few years ago because some of the best moments happened after the interview. From Google’s Vint Cerf to Austin Energy’s Karl Popham, those last few minutes where people relax, laugh, and the another personality shows up.
Our first one with Jigar Shah set the tone. Filmed on San Antonio’s River Walk, it was the perfect example. He went from commercial solar to good vibrations, like that’s just the gear he lives in.
Part of why we love doing these? It’s important to pause and enjoy the moment. The energy industry is full of personality, creativity, and unexpected fun.
And new rounds with SMUD’s Brandy Bolden and Oracle’s Carlos Thomas reminded us why we wanted to do them again.
