Webinar Summary

Driven by growing electricity needs, the share of renewable energy in the U.S. power grid is expected to significantly increase in the coming years and decades. Renewable sources of power play an important role on our electric system. For example at the end of 2012, about 17 percent of Xcel Energy’s power supply came from wind, solar, hydro and biomass resources. Additionally the energy mix has been bolstered by advanced techniques such as gas fired generation.

Xcel Energy with RES Americas and Zpryme will touch upon how an energy mix with advanced practices such as gas fired generation will help the current and future U.S. grid become efficient and reliable.
