Join George Washington University, Zpryme and the Security and Sustainability Forum in a 90-minute webinar about the recently published Army Installation Strategy. The session will review the objectives of the Strategy to advance critical installation capabilities required to support Army operations in a persistently contested homeland and meet the expectations of an all-volunteer force.
The AIS requires revisions to training, doctrine, and investments with a focus on several Lines of Effort requiring improved data analytics and extended partnerships. The partnerships come in a variety of forms, but generally support
- Increased investment on Army installations with
- New opportunities for enhanced provision of services, modernizing infrastructure, and
- Improving cooperation within the Military and with surrounding communities as well as the businesses and universities providing goods, services, and research.
The panel includes the Honorable Alex Beehler, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy & Environment and Richard Kidd, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Strategic Integration), and Brigadier General Robert D. Harter Director of the Staff for the Office of the Chief of Army Reserve (OCAR). Additional panelists will be announced shortly
