Zpryme is both a champion and a fosterer of creativity and innovation. For the 9th year, Zpryme will be organizing and hosting the Energy Thought Summit (ETS). Every year, ETS fosters innovative discussions about ideas and the future technology in the field of energy to combat climate change and connects industry experts and thought leaders on a common objective. This year’s ETS theme is ETS22 Power Up! Inspired by video games, this year’s event will focus on creating the same spaces of creativity, authenticity, and self expression that video games create for their users.
But beyond the engaging discussions and the fruitful networking opportunities, ETS as a four day event also includes Start@ETS. Zpryme’s Start@ETS is a pitch competition where innovative technologies are proposed to key decision-makers and experts in the fields of energy, smart cities, transportation, mobility, electric vehicles, and/or energy storage solutions in order to create touchpoints for the partnerships that will define the modern grid. This year’s event applicants will fall into five categories: Sustainability, Customer Experience, Optimization, Resilience & Electrification (S.C.O.R.E.). The application is free and open to all with innovative ideas that stand in any of the following phases:
- Ideation
- Pre-Seed
- Seed
- Series A, B, C
The winning pitch will be featured across Zpryme’s social media, promoted via press release, and gain the opportunity to have private meetings with judges within the utility and innovator spaces. Lastly, Cash prizes up to a total of $10,000! The deadline to submit the application is January 31st. This is a great opportunity to jumpstart your business idea. Submit your application here!
The event has been sponsored by some of the biggest names in the industry. This year the event will be held in partnership with Cisco, Hitachi Energy, Apogee, Armada Power, AutoGrid, and many others.
While last year’s ETS21 and Start@ETS were held virtually due to the COVID-t19 pandemic, this year’s event will be held in-person in Austin, Texas at hotel Zaza on April 11 – 14. Remote attendees will also have the opportunity to watch the event live. Participants and attendees’ safety is our utmost priority.
