Badar Khan is President, National Grid Ventures & Global Head of Corporate Development, National Grid plc. He is responsible for National Grid’s competitive businesses globally including interconnectors, LNG, metering, renewables and distributed energy. He also leads the company’s strategy and technology & innovation functions globally. Badar was previously CEO of Texas-based Direct Energy, a leading energy retailer with more than five million customers.
