ERIN'S PICK

Our next pick is, “Energy Leadership on Mentorship” featuring Marcy Reed, President of National Grid Massachusetts and Executive Vice President of US Policy & Social Impact, Sharelynn Moore, SVP Networked Solutions Itron, Inc., and Angela O’Connor, Power and Utilities Strategy Consultant. “One of our most recent episodes that quickly become of my favorites. We hear from three extraordinary women making the best out of their careers in energy. They talk about their journeys and offer advice for everyone, not just young women. I think everyone can learn a thing or two about making connections and professional development from this episode.” – Erin Hardick

DYLAN'S PICK

Our third pick is one of our more recent pieces, featuring Paula Gold-Williams, President and CEO of CPS Energy, A Deep Dive with Paula Gold-Williams. “I love podcasts where we get to have fun and Paula is the most exuberant CEO you can find. Her infectious energy comes through whether she’s talking about the role of a utility in the community or bizarre San Antonio pies. If you’re a new listener, this episode may be the best starting point.” – Dylan Lockwood

ERIN'S PICK

For our second pick, we have Rod Hilburn from Ameren Illinois and David Chiesa from S&C returning to talk about their microgrid project in Champagne Illinois, the first of its kind to receive PEER certification. “We rarely dig deep into specific projects on the show, which is why this is one of my favorite episodes. Our two guests, Rod and David, talk about their experience getting the first PEER v2 certified microgrid in the world up and running.”

DYLAN'S PICK

Today’s first podcast episode is, “We don’t need to be afraid of AI” with SparkCognition CEO Amir Husain. From Dylan, “I loved making this one because Amir and I are birds of a feather. I mean he’s way way smarter than me but we both think about everything through the lens of media, we both draw inspiration from formative technological experiences from childhood, and we have the same frame of sci-fi references. AI is technical and rife with issues but his ability to explain it through a very personal lens is inspiring.”
